Looking for a good vise

Outside heat

That's good to hear it still gets used for what it was meant to do. What is the piont of owning a tractor and not using it. This fall during corn silage time, I was hauling loads with a Farmall M normally have a New Holland for this task, but it was being used for something else. The Farmall gets used almost exclusively everyday for feed wagon duties. Well it had its hands full with the heavy wagons. The silage was wet and wagons were full. It still was nice to use the old girl out in the fields. No power steering, no live PTO, no power brakes and 5 speeds. Simple technology that still works.

I will post a picture of new can's and Nozzle tomorrow there pretty handi if you ask me :) and as for the metal can's if you look on the bottom there is a Date code the one's that are really good are from the 40's an 50's

I sell motorcycle and ATV parts and accessories on the interweb. I can't ship one of these to California due to CARB regs.

It is nice to use it for just the light duty things we have I have a bucket on the front of it to scoop the snow and ****** up with but its not in the picture it also has a scraper blade in the back that can be removed from the 3 point hitch to add other things like the post hole digger and I built a wood spliter that runs off the PTO its gets used for sure.

As for the feed wagon and feed four cart I like this way of doing it along with the snow plow duties they have to earn their keep also, not only for the mountains in the summer.

All I know is every time I've had someone from California order one I get a message from my distributor stating "This item cannot be shipped to California" or something to that effect. When I call aboput it they tell me it's CARB regs.

We buy them here at the speed shop, they are marked water jugs, I carry 2 for aux fuel, you get to some costal towns and cant get the 30' fifth wheel into the stations. cheaper than a trans flow.

Big, how about a fuel tank in your pickup with a 12v pump, hose and regular shut off nozzle. Is that an option? Sounds like you use a lot of gas. Holding those 5 gal cans upside down get heavy.

BigPapa do you get into the atv scene very much? I hear theres some real good trail riding in Tennessee. We go to Hatfield McCoy every year, but by the time we hit it up this year well have pretty much seen everything theyve got down there and will be looking for some new adventures.

But we can order 100 watt incandescents online, another casualty of Ca's idiocy. I love reading with an incandescent. The cfl's are fine for general lighting but my eyes prefer an old fashioned bulb. A Federal official is probably monitoring this and will probably intercept my order.

We use some gas, but the tractor is full and it will last for a few weeks it takes very little to operate it really. The compressor is the same and the cans empty fast someone noted that the new spouts were a PITA they are. I could hook up something in the truck I was even thinking of a tank mounted on a trailer but dont know what the law would have to say about that. I have a truck tank 150 gal. that could be used.

I used to ride a lot but not anymore. Here are a few links to some riding areas here in Tennessee. Most of them draw people from all over the country. I have friends and customers that have ridden at all these places. The only bad thing I've heard of any of them is LBL-Turkey Bay. They allow Dune Buggies and I've been told more than once that there have been intoxicated buggy drivers blasting the wrong way on a trail. A good friend of mine takes his whole family to Coal Creek or Brimstone every chance he gets. He and his wife both have Razrs, 2 daughters on ATV's, and a son on a dirt bike.

Sorry for the thread derail. Carry on.

Thank you very much for the info - Im going to show these to my friends and see what they think. We may just skip Hatfield for a year and come down to your neck of the woods this spring. Dont get me wrong, I love West Virginia and look forward to the trip every year but some of those links you posted look pretty promising. Its too bad youve gotten out of the sport, it would be neat to be able to come down and meet some new people. Thanks again,
JR

BIG,

Could you have a bulk fuel tank on site? Like the elevated agricultural fuel tanks?

That way you could get bulk fuel deliveries?

There are a host of other environmental concerns along with the storage also permits and inspections it would be nice but not that we are doing anything WRONG I just dont like state or government people snooping around. We are far enough off the road that unless you KNOW where your going you pass right on by looking at the woods (We have been here for going on to 3 years and I STILL DRIVE BY THE DRIVEWAY. ) Now that I have a gate we are really secluded and we like it that way. A trailer with a tank would be an idea I JUST HAPPEN TO KNOW A GUY THAT CAN DRIVE HAZMAT. FIL/SON have been looking into that also for their cattle enterprise they use the FUEL.

Nice pictures. It reminded me of what an omish gentlemen told me. He had a Farmall H and horses on the farm. During the hot buggy days in summer, the horses would get cranky and not move because of the deer fly's biting. The minute you turn them around to go home, they knew and were very cooperative. He drove the H everywhere and said the tractor isn't bothered by bugs and he would not prefer to farm without one.
