C'mon RustyJC, Its time to revisit your evaluations. To illustrate: How many people went to un-timely deaths BC the 10:40 rule? millions BC doctors followed this rule for decades until someone challenged it , Now doctor perform surgery at even 6. Believing that 5ers cannot be converted to GN is old thinking, NOW if the makers will not carry the warranty for GN, I don't buy them. My guess there are 1000s of conversions and I've never seen any failure directly related to GN change-over.

I'm not going to waste my time debating with someone who's not open to considering the technical fundamentals of an issue but rather wants to rely only on his own subjective observations and predetermined conclusions. If you want to use gooseneck adapters, great - your money, your equipment and your choice. As a mechanical engineer with over 45 years of experience, I wouldn't consider using one and certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone else. Caveat emptor......

Ok............

Since my trailer mfg. has been out of business for 10 yrs I'll stick with a 5 veer and not worry about a gooseneck warranty.
