How about 87psi on the street at only 2000RPM in 3rd. I don't think my eyes could of been any bigger while looking at the boost gauge. I'm a little scared to think what she would of hit in OD...
CRoth--your guage is bad-he,he---now that's some boost my friend--weld the head on did ya---keep us posted--sounds like those fire hydrants are spittin some serious fuel--very cool---how's the truck run on the street--I don't care about smoke-as you know-just about does it die, jerk, sputter, cough, pop, etc... . take care and hope to see ya soon and congrats on your recent tieing the knot----chris
Honestly the truck felt soooo much quicker running 80+ then at 65psi you could actually feel it. The only problem at 87psi thre is about 15psi drop across the intercooler. There something for somebody to sell..... get a 15psi increase in boost just remove the intercooler. Actually I'm a little suprised we didn't crack that thing.
Its a little scary when a truck that weighs 6500 lbs that is used for towing, and is supposed to get around 18mpg, can break the tires free while slowly rolling on the throttle at 50mph.
Chris, how much did the Dana 80 add to the truck for weight??
