Competition Dyno Question

Competition auto puller

Well I managed 590 HP with just little old stage 3 injectors today on #2 only. I only got one run in because when I tried the second run with the N20 on it blew up the dyno shops exhaust system :(! When I say blew up I mean it shredded a 20' piece of 5" flex exhaust tubing into 8 pieces each no bigger than 3'. Darn thing looked like a slinky... ... . It also blew the exhaust piping apart on my truck at every joint. But the good news is the truck stayed in one piece! But the dyno shop told me that the first pipe is on them but any more destroyed by me will be outta my pocket.

Doug... can you say a little "over jetted":D :D Next time you dyno, pick up 2 lenghts of 6" pvc sewer pipe (10') sections and you should be fine.

Steve

So I guess I'll need a "Stand Clear" warning before we run it in Muncie.

Good Job Doug... Can't wait to see what we get!!! :--)

Good one Steve :-laf :-laf

Congratulations Doug

Sounds like the dialing in process is going well. I can feel the pride in your post. My truck is apart again, head gasket didnt hold up with the twins. When its running again, hope we get to meet again soon, hopefully there's a track near by. Merv

yikes----now that's one way to throw a scare into the competition when you're in the lane which shoots your exhaust at your opponent--I like it--good thinking---oh by the way:D great job at the dyno---chris

Congratulations Doug.

I still haven't played with mine yet, looks like we will have to square off at Muncie, as all of our scheduled DHRA races have passed or been rained out before either of us was ready.

Ted

Glad yer getting it sorted out. Hope you get the pipes for the twins reliable, they are tough to work on when installed, I imagine. Good #.

I keep tellin you guys to stay off the drugs :D Yow, $400 per run is high.
