transmission has been steller, jake brake also is to die for and with this new six speed auto its really great...
Don't worry about the new engine. I now have over 41,000 miles on my 6. 7 cab and chassis, it hasn't missed a beat. I'd really like to know how someone knows when they are having a regen, I don't anymore. At first I could tell because of the lack of the ULSD I would smoke quite a bit when it did it, since I have ULSD available, I don't ever know when it does it. I do pull a trailer all the time, but my temps very seldom go over 200 except on big hills with a heavy load. Again, my truck is a C&C with the 2007 compliant engine, not the pickup with the 2010 engine. Maybe there is a difference, I don't know.
EB;with 41,000 miles on your truck has the fuel milage improved at all?
The fuel mileage on my cab and chassis is averaging around 10 pulling the trailer and 15 to 16 just running the truck by itself, which doesn't happen very often. I pull at around 68 mph on average. You can get better mileage if you want to drive 65 or below, I've checked it, I just can't get comfortable driving at that speed, I just always seem to creep back up to around 68. The last week has been crazy, my mileage is now over 44,500 miles.
