Please look at 2007 RAM 3500 6. 7L MBRP 5 Inch install today for install of MBRP DPF back to tip exhaust. Less than an hour to install. NO cutting or pain. Very easy install. Tone of exhaust is deeper and a touch more volumn. :-laf
Looks Good!! I am still considering doing a filter back exhaust. Im just not ready to butcher the whole exhaust system yet
I know there are many threads on this and I have read them all!!, but with the five inch does it have enough tone to realy tell a difference with your window down.
The MBRP is the best system I have seen yet. It is a direct bolt on. No cutting. I do hear a small difference but don't kid yourself. Due to the cat/DPF it is tone deaf already. I do think every little bit helps when you tow heavy and you are in gear 2-4 at 2800 rpms up a 10% grade it will pay off. It is a deeper tone. :-laf
I was looking at the 4" MBRP that Genos carries, the price is decent. But with consideration for the dpf and cat upstream of where this pipe will mount, is there a noticable diference in exhaust tone?
15 MPG with DPF and EGR and 20 MPG without. How much money have I burned up over the last year... . yikes! With just the stock muffler in the line, its sounds great, not too loud with a touch of rumble.
