2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 6 Speed, 5 Speed, or Automatic

Just curious of the ratio of the avalible transmissions that was sold.

6 speed is the way to go.

I have had a 95 with an Automatic, went to a 90 5spd, and have had a 2002 6spd for 2 weeks now, I think the 6 speed is the way to go. To figure all this out it took 7 years, but now I have the ideal truck for what I do.

I have the auto which I like for just driving and if I am in traffic. I wish I had the stick when I tow... but I don't tow alot. To each his own! Chris
