Will Cheney be charged with manslaughter if Whittington dies???

I have a chance to buy back an old friend, whadda you think?

I'm struggling here. Totally out of my element. I need to find a relay to trigger a 12v solenoid that has pull on winding with only a 2 second or so duty cycle, then a 100% duty cycle open set of windings.

I'm thinking both sets could be energized initially, then the pull on windings drop out after a second or two.

Would be great to do this with one relay. I've looked online and I'm not comfortable reading the specs. There's a very high likelyhood I'd order the wrong item.

So, if anyone has a vendor that can help, or can provide a specific item number or link to a relay, I'd be greatful.

Thanks, RR

PS; this is for a US Gear exhaust brake, I'd like to do away with the need for the factory control box and work it off a push-pull switch on the shifter.

K, I really don't know anything beyond 100% duty cycle on the hold on windings and a 2 second or so time limit on the pull on windings.

No decernable name on the solenoid, but it looks exactly like the fuel shut-off solenoid on a 12valve with a P7100 pump except that it's about 25% larger.

Thanks, RR
