600hp ! 900 Ftlb!! Out Of A 6.5.....

The article is about the 6. 6 D-Max. I have gotten anywhere from it has 500 to 600hp. I can't say for sure what it has but they plan on putting it in a 1/2 ton truck and convert it to all wheel drive. It seems it will be a speed machine more than anything. If the drop it into a 88-98 1500 reg cab short bed it should be very fast.

I was over at Andy's and Doug's shop today and a fella had a new one there. I asked him to see what it looked like. What a nightmare under that hood. I looked like a small block camaro from the early '80's. More junk wires and hoses than I care to fool with. How do you get the injectors out anyway? Haven't had one beat me yet, and from what I saw, it looks like injectors are out of their question. From what I heard, it may be a really poorly tuned gasser. Wasn't the old Trans Am engine a 6. 6? This is what you get when you try to run No. 2 in an engine that couldn't run on unleaded.
