Where are you loosing your power... between the battery and what... fuse box, ignition switch, starter?
If the battery is good, you should be able to track it down. Do you have the factory service manual with the basic diagrams?

There are six fusible links, one is the duck's foot in the main power feed from the battery, it splits into one lead to the alternator and four smaller wires that feed the fuses in the cab. The ducks foot is located on the driver's inner fender. There is also a single one that protects the hazard flasher circuit.

These tend to blow and not burn the insulation (hypolon)...if bad, they will feel stretchy.

Here are a few diagrams I found on the WWW.

... the whole truck is dead no power anywhere
If the battery is good, then you have power somewhere... either that or your battery post connector is corroded to the point where it will no longer conduct electricity. You might lose one fuse link, or maybe even two, but not all of them at once unless there was a major short in the primary system somewhere.
I would recommend that you get an FSM for the truck, or at least a set of diagrams to start. I did a quick on line search and came up with tons of free links to diagram images.

I had the same problem. First I took out the fuseable links and went with a regular fuse and holder (60A). I found that the wires going down the firewall to the top on the transmission had the insulation broken from age or the local rats chewed it off and it shorted against the trans. There are videos on youtube of guys doing the replacement of the fuseable links.
