I have a 92 CTD and I have been told many times that if I change the Turbo housing to a 16mm it'll have allot better performance. Where is the best place to pick one up at a competitive price??

If this post should be moved please feel free to but being new here I thought this would be the correct place. :)

Thanks

I think TST has them for a good price. But Piers has them on sale sometimes. Thats were I got mine. they are great folks. I think you will like the housing.

On sale for 135. 00 @ PDR

In terms of performance gain. It would best suit a stock truck or one that has mild performance mods. It becomes too restrictive if you have tons of fueling.

14 is real fun, quick off the line but your in the boost at 70 mph. With mild screw turns open air box and straight pipe my 14 was good for 29 psi... I am going to trying a 16 on my 93 for a littel slower spool but less # at spped. Look through all the posts on here do a search for 12cm, 14cm ,16cm or somthign along those lines lots of wisdom on guidence on here...

ps tell us about your truck and what you wnat to do with it and that might help to

Thanks all. Well my truck is a 92 CTD X-Cab 4x4. It has a Salvage title because a tree fell on the cab and it was replaced. I sold my PSD last year and picked up the CTD from the original owner for 7K Cash.

The truck now has 188K on the OD and its an Auto... ... ... ... . Wishing for a NV4500 Swap in the furure... ... ... .

Its a solid truck. To date all I have done is to take off the air box and leave the filter exposed. 4" exhaust fom the T-Case X Member back. I really need the downpipe... ... ... I have played with the smoke screw but havent seen any real change. I have taken off the cover on the full power screw on the rear of the pump but cant friggin get back there to sttept to adjust it :(

I did clock the diaphram but this had no effect.

What do you think so far???

I realkly want to see what the full power screw will do... ... ... ... .....
