As its finally been getting warmer up here, I've noticed that my A/C is not performing up to snuff. I grabbed my digital thermometer and checked the temp of air coming out of the vents. The air temp will drop quickly down to 58 degrees, then I can hear the compressor cycle off and the air temp slowly climbs to 62, then the compressor cycles on again, quickly drops the temp down to 58 again, and the cycle repeats itself, with the compressor cycling every 15 seconds. I had the freon topped off last year, and I cleaned the condenser/intercooler/radiator. Fan performance is satisfactory and changing from recirculate to outside air doesn't effect the symptom. It seems to me that the A/C would work fine, if the compressor would just stay on. Thanks for the help!

Sounds like that makes sense, suppose I'll have to take it to the dealer #@$%! and see if they can sniff out the leak. Thanks guys

the ac has a high pressure safety switch and if the top off was too much it could be hi press. making it cycel should hook up gauges to see
