Traveling yesterday, fan motor drop from WFO to barely nothing. Hit some bumps and it improved some then back to nothing. Stopped, turned off engine switch, restarted and we're back to WFO. Driving along and starts doing it again so when I got home I recycled the switch again and back to WFO. That's all the testing so far. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Gene

By no means am I an expert but have you tried the ignition switch? I have had problems with this before and replaced mine twice. The top two blades that plug into the harness burn out and cause similar problems.

Does is sound like it it running at high speed, but you're not getting any air? If so, I'd bet the recirc door is broken and the bumps you hit caused it to temporarily shift so that you got air flow.

I had issues with my A/C fan motor similar to this back about a year or so ago. Replaced the A/C fan motor an problem solved. Dealer said this is a common problem on 3 gen trucks.
