Found this story on the DTR of a guy with a million mile 12V Dodge Ram.

So there is hope for us old timers. Just think of all those years without a truck payment we could all have.

He's semi-retired that truck now. He bought another 12v a year or so ago. IIRC, it is a year newer, and had something like 176k on the clock when he bought it.

I think I will keep my nice reliable '95 for a long while. It's only got 243K on it. Just a youngster.

Don't ever intend to sell the 95 or 98. Still looking for a 96/7/8 flatbed to replace the 24v. That would complete the daily driver corral. Then maybe a full-bore race/pull truck.



Wonder what would accumilate in the garage of a TDR member if he/she hit the lotto? It's fun to ponder.

I just turned over 790,000 this morning, by the end of November I will hit the 800,000 mark. my history is simular except the auto trans which has been the weak spot. with good care I believe all twelve valves are capable of hi miles. Stormy
