2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission A milestone

*Way back in 1999, I bought my 98.5 Dodge 2500 Cummins powered truck.
*Friday, It turned 300,000 miles. I know many other people have exceeded this in their trucks, but I have never owned a truck from brand new and reached this total mileage before.

I'm just shy of 297k on my '98 that I got 10/97. But yours looks to be in far better shape than mine.

This truck has been wonderful.
Wayne, Keeping it in good shape has been in spite of me. I'm a drive it and drive it kind of guy. Spending six years in the south sure did it a lot of good. The rust only showed up after moving back to NJ and having to drive in the brine filled streets during the winter. I will admit to washing it for these pictures tho. However, it really wasn't too dirty before the bath. I had just removed the cap and the bed to install the Draw Straw and the sending unit top gasket. So I stopped by the Spray Wash on my way to the Depot.
SAndreason, I will submit the proof to the TDR, perhaps I can get my 100k.200k and 300k plaques sent at the same time.
