I put in my request for a 33" E rated to fit an 18x8. 5 wheel. I'm not holding my breath. :D

Goodyear tire

I have 6 of the GS-A Goodyears on my dually, absolute junk! They aren't worth snot in snow or mud, get loose in rain, chuck rocks from gravel driveways like crazy, wonder I haven't been sued for windshield damage by the dozens. Others have had sidewall ruptures, cord separations, and the list goes on.

Goodyear makes absolutely the best racing tires on the planet, but their consumer tires are trash, and I'm being nice!

Thats too bad, I know the GS/A's are no good and they usually are an OE tire.

Now the AT/S has always been my fav and this new one is suppose to be even better than an AT/S. I wouldn't compare an OE tire to whats available aftermarket.

I was hoping for an MTR in a 315 or 35. I wrote GoodYear a week ago and here is their reply on that one:

Dear xxxx:

Thank you for your email. Unfortuantely, Goodyear does not manufacture any tires in size 315/70R17. As for tires we manufacture in size 35-12. 50R17LT, the only tires currently manufactured would be the Dunlop Sport Rover RV, or the Dunlop Radial Mud Rover. At this time, there are no plans to manufacture the Wrangler MT/R tire in either size.

For more information about either of these Dunlop tires, please contact your local authorized Dunlop tire retailers. If you need assistance locating your nearest Dunlop tire retailers, they can be located by visiting Dunlop Tires | Retail Locator | Search Form on the internet, or by contacting us here at 800-321-2136 anytime Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST. Any of our Consumer Relations Representatives would be happy to assist.

Sincerely,

Results of my wish..

Here are my results:

Dear Matt, Thank you for contacting our website. There are no current plans for an 18" Silent Armour tire, but please check back

during the 4th quarter of 2005. The Wrangler AT/S is not being replaced by the Silent Armour. PBayless

I had asked if the Silent Armor would replace the AT/S since it out performs it in all areas it only makes sense. I doubt my Toyo's will make it to the 4 quarter of 05. . will be tight.
