Now that you are in the 12 valve forum I can guess its prolly 98 or older. If it has 2 wheel ABS its a crappy system, I unplugged the ABS puter with no problems and it stops fine and no surprises.
Its under the dash straight forward from where the shift lever would be with a 5spd with the plug on top, remove drivers knee bolster and you can get to it from there. Its some thing to try to see if it makes a difference.
Deezul's right... they aren't a good system on the early ones. Have you by chance changed tire, or gear sizes? That will confuse fred a lot of times. If not are your brake and abs lights on on the dash? If so there is a code stored that could send you in the right direction.
it is a 95 , 4 wheel abs system . I will try to un hook the thing . I'll see if it helps, hope it does this is not a fun thing to have happen. thank for the help on where to unplug this thing.
