2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission AC vent controls

The AC vents in my truck seem to freeze up and it chokes the air (or closes the gate that directs the air) when I leave the AC on. It has been doing this most of the summer. If I left the fan on high it would be ok. Now that it is getting colder, it freezes right off. When it does and I unplug the vaccuum connector under the dash, I lose vacuum to the one relay that is behind the climate control unit.



Any ideas?
