Well, Ive had my 02 ram for over 2 years now. Today, for the first time, I put the key in the accessory position to listen to the radio, and nothing. Is that the way it is supposed to be ? Or is there a problem with my ignition switch ?
Not to hijack the thread but, you have a British-made MGB which DOESN'T LEAK OIL????? That is a Miracle-car! Keep it! I had a '71 MGB-GT--one of the sexiest and worst cars I ever owned! Every month I owned it something on that car worth $100 broke--every month--without fail! Mine leaked oil... antifreeze... gear oil... air... blood--(mine!)
Anyway, back to your ignition problem. I don't have an '02. So I would only be guessing. But my guess would be an ignition problem. Do you have a Manual? Geno's is selling them cheap. If you have a manual look at the schematics for the Acc.
You could also break out the old tester and start testing wires. That would tell you whether you are getting 12v+ out of the Acc circuit.
