2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Adding a grease Zerk fitting ?

Is it advisable/possible to add a grease Zerk fitting to an old sealed non-greasable Ball Joint ?

I installed fittings on all the steering components 10 years ago. I bought straights and 90's from Auto Zone and drilled the appropriate hole.

Thanks for the replys and link. I'm just taking it in for repair $$ as the joint is shot. No use putting it off.

I did mine 10 years ago. it's a 1998 with the original front end minus a track bar and steering box.

If you have a 4x4 getting the upper BJ's is gonna be a PITA.

It's doable, but it will have you inventing new words.

Dont worry about getting it straight, you'll never be able to.
