I have the same wind noise at tops of doors as others describe. Much worse in cross wind and exacerbated by cabover camper dynamics.

I'd like to try adjusting the top hinge, and the photos that sounded like Sag2 included sounded helpful.

Also my passenger door got hyper extended in the wind, and creeks badly when opened.

It has a small kink in the metal, but I'd like to know how to adjust the huge to make it open quietly.

This is on the '03. The '05 doors seem to seal higher, and its the one carrying the camper now.

I've got wind noise too and I'd like to see those old pics. I replaced the door seals but it didn't do much. I adjusted the striker just slightly to pull the door in more - maybe a 1/32" and that helped.
I also have noise around the top of the window. Very strange - if I lower it just slightly it gets better. Replaced that rubber too and it made no change at all.

I know this post is 7 years old, but what happened to the photos?

Sag2 did a great description, but photos are implied and none display for me?

You can see the photos in TDR Issue 64, page 33. If you don't have that issue, it's available digitally for your review.

Door seals are the source of the bulk of the wind noise. The drip rail seal doesn't stop the noise or leaks if the seals are bad. Any 3rd gen truck will require seal replacement at this time, they have compressed and broken down with age. Replace the seal, adjust the door if needed and it is back to brand new.
