Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
I installed all the components (head unit, 4 spkrs... ) and used the crimp connector method. The install could not have been easier! Total time was just about 2 hours... HOWEVER...

There is no bass response whatsoever! The speakers are in phase (double checked that)... but the new Polks do not move any air! This is true irrespective of the head unit. I wired the speakers first with the stock deck- no bass. then with the new Kenwood- no bass.
I am thinking of going back to the stock speakers to try that response. I do not want to add a subwoofer- just want decent sound over stock... this set-up is a step backwards!!
