I bent the factory steering box shaft and bought a AGR SB2 series and installed it. I didn't even get backed out of the driveway and the thing started to leak out the shaft that connects to the pitman arm. They said they would ship out a new one today when i called. Has anyone else had such an experience with one? I had to put the old one back on since the new one won't be here till at least monday I didn't want to pay for the overnight freight they said they wouldn't pay for.

mine started leaking within a month--it's a flaw with our steering geometry that stresses the shaft seal when the wheels are turned to full lock, especially when sitting still or barely moving and if you have oversized tires---I installed Darrin's steering shaft brace & added some BARS stop leak and the leak has slowed way down and may have stopped--too early to tell if it's totally stopped--get the Brace--I know AGR is aware of this and they are taking measures--they haven't responded to my request yet for a new one----I do know that BBD has had his on for like 3yrs with no problems but his truck is a 97 I believe and the steering is a little diff----again get that brace and put it on with the new box----Piers Diesel Research has them----chris

Does anybody know the number to the bearing they use on the stiffeners I made my own at work and just need to cut the hole and get the bearing installed. I hope the next one doesn't leak me and a buddy got it down to just over a half hour to get the new one off and old one reinstalled so i could drive it this weekened.
