Air Bag Control

I'm using the Air Lift wireless control, it is GREAT. I got a seperate solenoid for control also, I have the PacBrake compressor too. I put the extra Air Lift compressor in my TT, also a 1# small air tank, so I can use it off the TT's 12v power and air up tires, air mattresses, etc right from my TT.



I have my bags plumbed up independently, didn't want shifting pressures from side to side, that could be dangerous.

I have Firestone air bags with the compressor and the control switch that you show on the post. I had the opt. for the 2 switch control 1 for each bag (why I would need that was a mystery) I went with the 1 switch rocks 1 way to fill other way to empty. I put the compressor under the rear seat . The switch is under the driver seat and I can reach it setting while driving.

Unless it has an isolation feature, the issue is on curves where the bag being compressed in the sway event pushes its air over into the other bag that has expanded in the sway event. Not big deal, just doesn't help sway control.

I guess your right but I dont really count on the bags for load sway Im looking for suspension help at times.

I did similarly as a few others did here. I already had the compressor from my pac brake, bought the pac brake bags and wanted in cab controls but didn't want to run lines into the cab. So, I went with Firestone's wireless control kit (Firestone Wireless Air Command - Digital Gauge w/ Standard-Duty Compressor - Dual Function Firestone F2489) and ran a solenoid (from these guys: suicidedoors.com | This ain't no damn corporation... . ) in place of the compressor. I plumbed the rear bags separately. System works like a champ. I love being able to make on the fly adjustments to the pressure without having to get out of the truck while cruising down the road.
