Well the old BJs were loose, IF new ones are too tight causing your issues then yes very possible the stokers would drive better.

I just had some Dynatrac BJ's installed and my camber was perfect the alignment guy said. He'd never seen one before.
They're always off a bit he said especially after some use and bj install.

My 2005 has always tracked true through multiple tire sets and sizes.
After installed carli bjs, it still tracked true . even after the dealer installed a full steering upgrade without doing an alignment, the truck still ttacked true.

KNOCK WOOD !!!

Unless it was on too narrow a rim no way should that tire have squirm. It is only about 31 inches and a short sidewall. What width or rim and backspacing do you have?

Put those tires on a 4.5 back space rim and they drive like crap on most roads. The tire is wide and with the wrong back space it sets them outside the normal wheel tracks and they walk all over the place.

The Moogs and XRF's are known for memory steer problems on these heavy trucks. They may or may not get better. Consider most of these fine for the tpyical gasser trucks but they fail miserably with the Cummins on top of them.

The tires I bought are "E" rated and are the same size as before 305-55-20. I will grab the alignment report and get back to you. Also...the Falkens I had felt really squishy (like using a long eraser on a pencil) but then I got used to them.
The crazy part of the BJ story is that even with the sloppy stock BJs, the truck would track straight. Could the new Moogs be worse than the sacked out stockers? That's hard to fathom.

Better question: what did they actually put on the truck? Sometimes the tire shop grabs one tire of a different rating that you ordered and throws it on not paying attention. Found one rating mixed up like this because the center was wearing out 3x faster than the other tires. Worse they put 2 wrong rated tires on to replace the first mistake. No, I wasn't drunk but the vehicle sure was making one trip around the block and going back to the tire shop.

I just put 4 new Toyo ATs (02/05/2015 (5000 miles ago) on the rear of my '05 and the first 1000 miles had me thinking I was going to take them back. The new tires had LOTS of shift in the back end side to side. They would literaly throw you across the crown (center line) of the two-way road when pulling out and passing another vehicle and again when you pulled back in after passing. Scared me to death the first time I went to pass after getting them. I was expecting it to shift enough I could feel it; not to be thrown to the other side of the road. The old tires were Discover STs and they did the same thing when they were new, but not near as bad. These Toyo's are a different animal, but they wear a lot longer on my other vehicles thus the reason for the change on the truck.

I've got 285-75-17 AT2's and the tires exhibited a bit of squirm initially but took less miles than my Toyo MT's to settle down. The MT's turned rock solid after 800 miles. To be honest they handled better than these AT2's. I just got tired of the noise or I'd still have them.
