I have turned to the dark side, so I won't be spending very much time around the 2nd gen forums anymore. I will still keep the 2nd gen reference information on my website.

I am thinking about requesting this license plate:

Farewell Ken ;) Sorry to see ya go, at least you'll only be a click away. How do you like the new truck? Love the plate idea.

Ken:

Good luck in the new forum. Love the plate idea.

Did you fly the truck home or just drive out to DIA for the pic. :D

I drove out to DIA to try to see some of my old friends who worked out there and decided it would make a nice backdrop for the pics. I used to work at the building where I took the picture (building was behind me when I took the pic. )

Dang, Ken, it's gonna be hard to think about you driving one of those girly Diesels! Don't forget your pore ole 2nd generation friends who are stuck with driving these smoky, noisy, rattling, stinky trucks. ;) :D

Like the truck-I'm getting mine today:)

I like the plate to, but 2 observations:

1. Only truck people will understand it (so who cares, right?)

2. It looks an awful lot like a standard DMV issue-I don't think I would pay my $$$ unless it was something that "stood out"

-my 2 cents.

What a horrible photograph! It fills me with an urge to deficate! Some of the worst engineering in my mind. All the leaks. Not to mention the outrageous cost! Could'nt ya' have picked a better background!:D Where is that anyway;)

Nice truck. The only thing it's missing is the training wheels, but then that's probably just me. I like the 04. 5, but I really like not having a payment on my 99. Good luck with the truck.

That is not the dark side my friend; that is the light!:D Nice ride! Congrats and good luck.

(I lurk in the 3rd gen forums all the time and I am not ashamed of it!Oo. )

Ken! Don't you know these trucks last more than 1-2 years??;) Have you ordered your 05' yet??;) :p

Congrats!! Let us know how she does!

One ton and single wheels I like it. What kind of mileage do you expect?
