I might be able to get a really good deal on a 215 hp motor... I figure the engine would definitely bolt up w/ the Getrag bellhousing and the first gen motor mounts, I'm more worried about the intake and pump interfering w/ anything on that side of the truck(steering, brake lines, master cylinder). Will the 2nd gen PS pump be OK w/ a fist gen steering box, even if I have to change lines? I figure some fuel lines and grid heater/shutdown solenoid wiring might have to be done, along w/ a/c lines? Anyone done this? I tried searching and got bits and pieces. Thanks

I have a second gen motor(24v) in my first gen. If there is a certain area you are concerned about clearance wise, let me know and i can send you a picture. The p-pump does not hit the m/c. Power steering pump from 2nd gen works fine. Just use fittings off old pump.

No problems with intake. I had to modify the pipe from the intercooler to the intake because I used an intercooler from a 2002 mounted upside down. I started with a Banks first gen intercooler though and the tubing was easy to modify. There's quite a bit of room to work there. The only tight area is the turbo to hoodliner. I run an ATS with the center section upsidedown and a 5/8" spacer. If I was to go to a larger compressor housing, it would touch the liner. With a single turbo in a standard configuration, there's plenty of room. Even full 4" exhaust fits easily. Air conditioning fits also.

Make sure it's from a Dodge application. Anything else will have a different oil pan. It should bolt in with no problems. I bet you could even swap the intake horn for your 93 intake horn and not have to modify the intercooler pipe.

It's a 96-98 215 hp Dodge motor. I figure if I can sell my motor and put this one in and only be a few hundred down I'm well ahead of the game... Thanks for the info guys.
