Did you catch the final episode?What did you think?I think they left it open for another movie,still a lot of conspiracy left. I can't believe they killed off the "three geeks". I guess it was getting kind of stale though without Mulder. We may see another movie,I want to believe ..... Doug

I think your right, there probably will be atleast one more movie. I wasn't very impressed with the last episode though. It seemed kind of slow.

I liked it... I don't think it was worthy as the series finale, but it did tie a lot of things up and leave a LOT of room for another movie OR a spinoff series...

As a fanatic, I was disappointed. I really didnt see where the loose ends were tied up... they reviewed what we all learned over the years about the alien virus, the oil, super soldiers, etc... but the only REAL revelation from the final show was a definite date of invasion. I agree, that the pace seemed slow.

I missed the first 20 minutes. When did they die? I haven't been watching it since Mulder left, so I'm kind of behind things. I think I did hear that there is another movie in the works. Great series, ... I'll enjoy the re-runs for many years. At least Mulder and Scully seemed to be getting romantically involved finally. I think that the hands-off romantic tension between them during the series worked very well. They were totally committed to each other, but never had an affair.

They killed the geeks off a few weeks ago. Some kind of virus,BUT how many times have they killed off the "cancer man". at least three... . . Doug

true about the smokin man being killed before, but the geeks came to moulder as ghosts so I think they are dead,,,,show was ok, but I agree a bit slow, I honestly think smokin man may have bit it this time... . I wish they had reaked a little more havoc and at least killed a few more aliens... ... but I'm sure they will in the next movie and there will be another movie, they left it too open for there not to be... ...

Stupid Ending

Didn't like the last episode at all, but the return of the smoking man was cool ... especially the way he smoked his cig's, through the tracia hole in his throat!!! Nasty!



I hope there is some movie in the future to tie things up.

Yeah I was a little disappointed- but then it would appear that they left it open for another movie - there was just too much left hanging for the series finale.



Oh by the way - this coming Monday 5-27 there is 12 hours of the X-files on the FX channel + the movie i believe.



Sunday nights will never be the same without Mulder and Scully. .

Over here in Europe, we're always between half and one season behind in the syndicated broadcast schedules , but did you know that the X-Files is now available in DVD box sets for each complete series, with Season 5 just having been released ?

The sixth season on DVD is due for release in November this year, with the remaining seasons being released in 6 monthly intervals thereafter.
