Anybody else out there from south la? How did you make out? Where are you staying? I pretty much lost everything including my two cummins conversions. We are looking to relocate to mccomb mississippi. Any fellow turbo heads up there? copterdoc

hey copterdoc, i'm from covington,la. just north of lake ponchatrain. we did ok- shingles and roof of my shop in neighbors yard but house is livable- i have an extra room and 2. 5 acres if it can help you at all- please let me know. we've been lucky and would like to help . daryl

Pumper ... what kind of damage did your house take? Was it wind & rain or flood/high water?

in empire we had 175 mph winds and then a 25 to 30 foot storm surge. We have relocated to mccomb mississippi. (elevation 417')

A friend I work with is from Hackberry. . He said his house is fine, but his aunt & Uncle's house has nothing but a slab left... Pretty sad, but they plan to rebuild again, but definitely not there! I have been out there the past 2 weekends, and it is amazing seeing all the storm damage.
