Anybody order a truck recently?

no I was told do not expect it till after the first of the year and then maybe due to the weather. It is really getting me , do you have any news on yours, my sales guy is less then helpfull, sometimes I just wanna smack him across the phone lines :--)

Not sure where you live Fireman, but for my truck they load it on a boat and float it to Baltomore MD, then truck it to my dealer. I expect it to take 3 weeks from the point it moves out of that mexican parking lot. Its going to be the 2nd or 3rd week of Jan. That's 12 weeks from date of order



I passed up 2 different 2500's 2wd 6 speed's the dealer received since I order mine.

Well, mine was hung up in Mexico storage also, but I got a call today saying it was being put on the rail today and should be in Birmingham by Jan 2. So maybe some of the others on hold will be shipping with it.

This ain't fair . I ordered 10/25 and you ordered 10/28, and yours gets shipped first? I guess since yours probably came off the line right behind mine it ended blocking access to mine in that Mexican parking lot, so they had to ship yours to get to mine (I hope)



The Dodge records are updated every weekday at 3:00pm EST, maybe I will call again this afternoon.

Sorry about that (well kind of) Hopefully they left together. My sales guy told me some trucks get pulled off before shipping for a QA check and that was what happened to mine. So not sure who's right (QA check or just a shipping issue) but just glad it is on the way (I think).

I wonder if it is a location of delivery issue,I ordered mine around the same time as you guys but have been in storage since 11/29 which is a real %^%$# anyways that is the info my sales guy is giving me. I am taking delivery at DSM so I am way west of you guys. But is nice to see some trucks are shipping maybe they will get to mine soon.

I wouldn't be too surprised if they were waiting to get a full load before shipping. Money wise, that would make the most sense. If that's the case and mine is really shipping, then any shipping to the east should be leaving today???

I was just at the dealer. We pulled up his orders on the computer and I see He has a guy ordered 3500 QC after mine, I was built 12/21 and he got a rail car number today! Mine built 12/10 is still sitting in the lot.



He said "Will, I can't get them to ship your truck, but I keep getting trucks in that I never ordered"!



Then he told me he just received 2-3500 SRW 2wd 8' bed SLT 6 speeds. I am going to go drive one tomorrow just to see what they are like (and get a 3G fix ). I don't need the truck until March so I might as well wait for the one I ordered. But I would have bought one of these trucks on site if my Laramie H package was not on order.



Also he said the factory closes the week between Christmas and New Year, but he is not sure if the shipping from the lot stops or not. I would think they would keep shipping that week so they could catch up and empty the lot.

Well according to my sales guy my truck is now KZ status realeased to carrier for shipping. So according to him it still needs a rail car and with the holidays he said it will be slow. So at least something is happening.

You need to know your VON number, then have them create a "file" for you and get that number for when you call next time (file number makes it a lot easier)

Options have changed...



1-800-992-1997 then 6, then 2, then 1... . then wait on hold for 10 minutes or so!



Oh yea, forgot to mention... I've got a VIN now and it's actually made it's way in to the USA from Mexico! Oo.

I called the dealer today and raised he!!. :-{} My Truck still sitting in mexico after being built 17 days ago!



My wife bought me a Black 3rd gen Ram 1500 QC slt 4x4 at Tractor Supply for Christmas to make me feel better. It sits on my Night Stand next to the Bed

do not feel too bad mine sat for 23 days,mine is now KZ but still waiting for shipment.

Me too! Dealer just called, it's now KZ with no rail car number. He also said he has several others held up at the port in Mexico. He thinks they are waiting to fill up the boat (hope mine catches up).



I then called the Dodge 800 number (just so see what they said). They said "its between Baltimore and PA". Wish I could believe them

Once it gets on a rail car, you only have about a week left. Mine came through Texas and Oklahoma in one day, Missouri and Illinois the next, Indiana the next, then sat in Ohio for a few days. Depending on where you live, maybe you'll have it for the New Year!!!

sorry to hear your truck is in la la land. When i was talking to them yesterday about ordering they said with the hurricanes etc Santillo is all screwed up. Hasnt got its act straight yet. Told me they got a notive from DC not to quote 8-12 weeks on orders on Rams anymore.



Hope this was all smoke, but sounds like weird s*&t happens in mehico

OK so i just made a liar out of myself. I canned the deal on the dealers truck and ordered an 06 2500 megacab laramie, with exactly what i want on it. I decided that if its what i want its worth waiting for. So now i am in the same boat as y'all waiting for a VOn the a VIN the a "bus out of mexico" :-laf :-laf
