That is complete BS. Do the math, thats over 400,000 miles in a truck thats not even 2 years old. Even taking in account 2 years (730 days) he would have to drive 550 miles per day every single day. If you take it for 5 days a week for 2 years thats 800 miles per day.

i seen it with my own 2 eyes, this guy hauled trailers all over canada and the USA, it was sitting in a diesel shop and the owner of the shop was telling us this truck never stoped.

big sevens

I turned 74 last July, the truck turned the big sevens last week, I wonder whos going to crap out first ?. Stormy

High Miles

Stormy... I''m with you too many miles on me and the truck. Thought I would wear it out and then buy a 98 but so far the truck is handling the miles better than I am. R C :--)

:) 200,000 mil;es on mine. It will wear me out before I wear it out. Still drives like new and not burning any oil at all between 4000 mile oil cjanges.

IIRC there was a TDR article sometime around '00-'02 of a guy with over 1. 7 million miles on his. :--) Mine are still relatively low at 281k and 221k. I thought I was racking them up back when I was driving around 35k miles/year to college and work.

Not quite but no doubt I'll get there...........

I have 290,000 miles and no problems. Jeeeeezzzzzz, even with the sky high fuel prices I love this truck:) Hope I can continue to aford to run it.

im approaching the 300K club with my 12V

still have alot to go. cummins all the way. has anyone ever heard of a powerchoke making it a million miles???

Not power stoke but 6. 9. He owned a produce market north west of mine. He bought a Dodge /Cummins and sold or retired the 6. 9 I don't remember which one.

Got 227,000miles on a Ford 01---7. 3 Company vehicle with original glowplugs/turbo/injectors,pretty much most of the internals have never been touched. It is getting tired though,i think stock(which it is )it has 195HP. My 01Cummins only has 25,500miles to date.

I have 404k miles on mine, knew a couple that pulled rvs for Hoosier RV transport that had a 96 with over a million miles on it and that was about 4 to 5 years ago.

Only did regular maintenance on it.

I have done the head gasket on mine and killed the KDP. Truck runs just over 250 horsepower, better than new.
