Worked OK for Me
Well, huh. I have the Lindstad kit on mine, and it has worked OK. At the time, it was just the Lindstad kit and the DT trackbar available. The Lindstad kit requires welding, and I'm not set up for anything too heavy for my antique oxy-acet rig. So I bought one of Lindstad's ready-made track bars. I installed a polyethylene (sp?) bushing on the other end, and it's been fine. I check the tightness of the adjustment plug at each oil change. It needs 1/4 turn about every fifth change.
Lindstad's been OK for me, with no real interference with the diff cover. I kept the OEM track bar. (Shipping cost was about the same as core value. ) It's a known factor, with 35K miles on it. I may eventually rebuild it with Luke's Link and reinstall it. But it's a low priority.
