The OD on my 47RH is NOT electric. It's hydraulic. I think the ones on the 47RE are the same. A solenoid valve on the valve body causes the ATF to push the OD piston.



The 46RH on the gassers has a different pan. The difference is the size of the front band piston on the 47RH. An old 727 pan might work but I would sure check it out first because the pan on the 727 in my old one ton maxie van didn't have the curve in the pan that my 47RH does. It looked like the pan on the 46RH. It would be a good deal if it fits.

Joe because mine is a 47RE which is were I got the idea, I was also told to use the 727 pan gasket because it was cheaper. Also to use the 727 filter because it was a better filter. As always your mileage may vary.
