2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission anything rebuildable in steering column?

I've got some definite play in the steering column, up high, somewhere around the steering wheel itself. Clunks on bumps and bad roads. I noticed it after rebuilding entire front end and installing rock solid bushing. Not sure if i just notice it now because everything else is tight, or if i broke something in the process of installing the bushing. Anyway, is there a bushing of some kind in the top of the column that can be fixed or am i doomed for an expensive dealer replacement column?
