Before you make that decision, you might want to consider the ramifications of Beta testing Ford's third diesel engine in seven years. The Scorpion will be "heche en mexico" by the way.

ddivinia, If our truck have to out sourced to another country, I'd rather it be Mexico than China or Pakistan. The more jobs there are in Mexico the more they will stay there. Besides, our Dodge trucks made in Mexico have always been better built than the trucks made in St. Louis. No offence WSHall

well at least, if the Mexicans don't build it better their job is in jeopardy, thats for sure.

no problems as of 41,000 miles on my 07 mega exept a recall on the front end parts.

When I brought some pals at work out to see my new '07 QC, there was a puddle
of coolant under the engine. That gave the Ford and Chevy guys something to talk
about for a while. Some Bozo at Fenton had snapped one of the radiator hose camps
and just left it hanging there. Maybe a clue why they're being built in Mexico.

UAW is what sent he jobs to mexico. Hmmm $60 an hour for labor or $25??? If you owned the company, where would you get your labor? All things being equal price wins. If the trucks are made completely in the US theyd cost you about $70K

The last ford we had in the shop was a 550 and it said maid in Canada in the door jam. Where is the US plant?
