I know it's a ways off,but looks like Sept. 24 might be a good night, this is a test/tune fri. night drag. Will it work?check the link below and let's set it up.

Alan

Works for me and the group of cummins owners here in Tucson I know. When this is the plan for sure, post it in this thread so we all know. Thanks.

Mike

After talking with a few of you, let's decide as of now it's a definite on Sept. 24 at the fri. night drags. Even if you don't want to race,c'mon out and enjoy the evening and get acquainted.

Mike,I will try to be out at the strip by 6:30-7:00,What truck will you be in,I'll be lookin for ya.

Alan

I'll be in mine, you can see pics in my reader's rigs/description in my sig. I'm working on getting my brother to go (2003 white 4 door, short box, 37" tires) and two friends from my off-road club to go (1997'ish black excab, short box, ~10" lift, 38" tires) and (1997'ish white single cab, long box, ~6" lift, 35" tires). We all have Wildcat OFF-ROAD stickers on our windshields, or back windows so we should be identifiable by those. That black excab sticks out like a sore thumb as well so you won't miss us.

What should we watch for, you gunna' be in your 3500? Also, what do we need to know? We should run the track, or shouldn't? What type of pre-registration does that take?

Thanks.

-Mike

why you guys gotta do this? I'm gettin' my transmission worked on the 11th, then going to Reno for the air races the 17-19, then going elk hunting the 24-26... . guess september just isn't my month!

Ok, I'll make it down there sometime, or better yet, lets start working something out for October in Phoenix... maybe get everyone together there, as it's sorta a midpoint for the state...

Mike,I'll be in my 03,blue. 4"lift,35's. It's very easy to get registered at front entrance office, they will assign you a truck #,proceed to Tech for inspection, then head for staging lanes.

Snowracer,I'm hoping we will be racing at the Truckin Nationals in Oct. ,i need to give maddog a call and find out if it's a go?

Alan

I'll no longer be able to make it... turns out we can move into our new house sooner than we thought so I'll be moving on the 24th. . oh well, maybe next time.

ill try to make it out as im new to the diesel scene (and i need to go faster) Oo. and the tdr. look forward to meeting ya'll.

I plan on making it. Will be nice to see the faces behind the names and, Walcot, with alittle help I may get the nerve to try the track out this time.

I know it seems intimidating, sometimes you have to take the bull by the horns!!I'll hold your hand and guide you down the strip. Remember when it turns green it's hammer time!

Alan :D

Snowracer - I'm in. I should be ready for a couple runs by October. Would have been sooner (DTT by Fred), but "someone" squeezed their truck in and now I have to wait until the 18th. I wonder who that could have been ;)

Wednesdays are open track at Speedworld.

hahahahaha..... I squeezed you out, huh? ;) 11 am tomorrow and we'll be dancing to the tunes of new DTT parts!

I'm going down the the "racing club" from my school, probably the 2nd weekend in October to Speedworld. I'll also be at Truckin' Nationals I hope.

I can most likely make it, let me know. So you got an archery tag for elk? I'm on a dry spell (5yrs) but I did get a tag in New Mexico. Starts the 3rd weekend in Oct. Then off to Flag for deer.

No, no archery tag here, but my Grandfather got one again this year! He got one last year too (the unit basically IN Flagstaff... I've never seen anything like that in my life! We were hunting elk next to guys riding bikes, a lady pushing her baby stroller, freaks out doing the hippy thing, etc... I did get it all on film though!)

I'm on a dry spell too... no big game for me for the last 4 years. School has been starting before hunting, so I can't hunt Oregon or Nevada, and just don't have the time to justify the non-res tag fee in AZ... one weekend I can make it up to hunt w/ my grandpa, but that's it. I'll get back into it though...

Haven't heard from the AZ guys, wanted to keep thread up near top.

Az Pete, are you still heading to track to race?

Alan
