Hey guys, I just off loaded my 99 V-10 and moved up to a cummins. I have read a lot on this site that an EZ is the way to go for a first upgrade. I only have 250 miles on my 01. Is it too early to install an EZ and are they difficult to install? My EGT and boost guage should be here soon from Geno's ,to be able to keep an eye on vital signs. Thanks for any help!!! Jace

i installed my ez at about 500 miles, and it's been all down hill from there. just kidding you"ll be surprised at what the ez will give you. but it will won't stop with just an ez. :D

I don't see where the EZ would require any break in time to be completed before install.

The maual says heavy towing enhances break in. The EZ enhances heavy towing.

Just my $. 02

I waited 12000 miles and towed 5000 miles of that. I am glad I waited.

Towing made a huge difference in gas mileage and power, hard to do the waiting game.

With 460+ hp I WANT MORE.

Tom was correct on the heavy right foot deal, I race anything that moves.

The good people at Deisel Dynamics take great care of me and are life long friends. You own it to yourself to go with their products, Simply the BEST.

On the way back home from the dealer, I stopped at Rob G. 's house to pick up a camper shell (topper, to you back east guys), and he asked me if I would be interested in trying his EZ on my truck..... I hesitated for about 1/2 heartbeat... . loved it. . On the way home I made a call on the cell and ordered it right then... Still lovin' it and wantin' more...

:D :D :D

I installed my EZ on the dealers lot before delivery. It takes 10 minutes. It is a noticable increase, but the bombing usually doesnt stop with just an EZ.

EZ

Go ahead and do it, I only had a few thousand on mine and its the best thing I've done, it gives you quite a bit for the money I think, I would never take mine off.

Our truck turned over 1000 miles today. It would have an EZ on it now except the 2002 can't use the 2001 EZ I bought while the truck was on order (MAP plugs are different). As soon as Edge releases a 2002 EZ, though, it's going on - the truck is begging for it right now! :D

Same story here

I have a 2001 EZ waiting to go on my 2002 truck when Edge gets a new one out. I was going to put the EZ on at 1000 miles but it didn't work, truck now has 2300 miles and the EZ is going on as soon as I get the new one. I cant wait.

Call Fred Swanson

DStevenson,

Give Fred a call at Desert Diesel Parts he sells them at a great price and is a real nice guy to work with. I'd sell you mine but I understand that Edge is going to send me an adapter so I can use the 2001 EZ on my 2002 truck.

Good luck,

Thank you ALL for your input. I will order me an EZ first thing Monday morning. This site is THE BEST!! I feel sorry for Dodges competion without a site such as this. I'll let you know how it goes.
