I'm having the Transgo shift kit installed in my 2000 model truck and they said there is a variety of springs and he wants to know what RPM I want it to shift at at WOT.
 
I'd suggest 3000 rpm is a good starting point.

It rerally is a matter of what you want from it and how it is modded.
 
I think I had my trans to shift around 2700 or 2800. In that way you avoid vp defueling (unless you are overdriving it) and it drops to about 2200 or so to keep you in the power curve.
