Can someone tell me if Jeff Garmon uses the ATS Valve body when he rebuilds a transmission?

I have bought a ATS CO-pilot and it works much better with the ATS valve body. If he does not use the ATS valve body will the co-pilot still work.

I was not aware of the need for the ATS valve body when I bought it. If I have to go to a stock valve body I can only lock the converter in 3rd and fourth gear. With an ATS valve body I can lock in all 4 gears. Has anyone ever installed the ATS CO-Pilot? Is it worth putting it on without having the ATS valve body.

Have I wasted my money or what?

You don't need an ATS VB for the Co-Pilot to work. You just need a VB that will allow lockup in all the gears, or 2nd at least. Locking in 1st is problematic. Just let them know how you want the VB setup.
