I thought I recognized the waiting room floor and chair in those pics, now I find myself missing Colorado all over again, heehee.

I knew Don Ramer had that super VP44 pump in his truck, but it was not my place to say so, I knew he'd talk about it when the time was right. I'll be glad when mine is ready... :D

Anyway, now everyone can see how clever the engineering is. Mark Kendrick's excitement is amusing Oo. that's exactly how Eric and I were when we saw the parts pictured for the first time in that showroom, and realized instantly what we were looking at... . :--)

Thanks for the pics Mark.

If this thing is supposed to work what kind of torque #'s will it take.

I don't care how many horses i'd be happy with 300hp with 5000ftlbs of torque!

If it was only possible.

The pump was custom. . V series not a VP44. running a CNC head, lots of ceramic coatings and a custom cam. I have the specs for the cam in hand and it looks like it would do it.

They are able to fuel clear to 3450rpm, keep the air cool, and flow lots of it. It is a recipe that looks like 600hp.

Mark,

Did Don also tell you that on a Mustang dyno his truck only registers about 320hp???

We all pretty much know the truth about that 600hp run... LMAO

Kev

The Facts

Keven did you also bother to tell them that the castle rock colorado dyno that it was on broke down during that run and stopped. My truck melted the hoses on the dyno and could not finish the run. Or do we just withhold all the facts. Also dont remember you at that dyno to see that. That was the second dyno in one week that went down when my truck was running on it. And we can have lots of people back that one up so do you want to finish it! The run was stopped at that hp number so bring your truck down and lets see you at the track. I will challenge you to a drag race OK. Dont say no

It sure didn't break down that day the RMTDR was down there... cause that guy in the white dually ran on the dyno after you did!!!!

BTW... if my heart was into drag racing maybe I'd take you up on the offer... but I haven't been on the track enought to even qualify as a beginner. So if your so into challenges... take Bill up on the offer at MM02!! Put your money where your mouth is.

Kevin the first run that day was 1003ft lbs at 319hp that was last year not two weeks ago. Did not see a truck out power it that day not a truck in site running 1003 ftlbs no no yours didnt come close

What about your run at the Ford gathering??? Hmm... . it was right around 320HP, and that was just a couple of weeks ago.

So don't think I haven't got my facts straight.

Kev

Kevin,

His truck IS better equipped than mine and I make well over 400hp and around 1000# tq.

I'll put $20 on hime being over 500 uncorrected horses.

I'm pretty sure he's over 550 and 600 won't be unbelievable with a better turbo(I DO HAVE A BETTER TURBO THOUGH:p:p:D:D:D)

That was two weeks ago and it did break down during the run so how about the track kevin you going to show up?

Don... Kev is talking about the run when the TDR was there. You are refering to the second time we were down in castlerock. Kev was not present at that time... though it can be verified... if he so chooses.

Clint

Kevin we are talking about you not anyone else here or can you not handle what you start with people. I do think you should start backing up what you talk about without other people getting there names brought into your S***

Mark,

Last time I saw Don's truck and his sig, it listed custom injectors, a hybrid turbo, the new pump and a COMP box.

Trust me. . I know about your turbo... . and I'm jealous... LOL

Here's a little comparison. KatDiesel had the DD3's, COMP and one of the B1 turbo's and put out mid 400's. So pending on how big them custom injectors are in Don's truck, I can see mid to high 400's, maybe close to 500... but not 600.

I'd put $20 on it... . provided the truck was taken to DD's dyno, since they know how to accurately run the Dyno!!

BTW Don. I'm not trying to attack you at all... just stating that the 600hp mark is not accurate.

Clint,

I'm actually talking about both times. . just as an FYI

Don - I'm just returning your fire and stating the truth. All I gotta say is this... . You make me laugh!! Like I said before. . I wasn't trying to attack you or ATS in any mannor, just putting out the facts of that Dyno run that I was present at (and some of my buddies that were at the Ford Gathering).

Strick9 - I have never ran an ATS system. My first time meeting ATS was at our Dyno meet in November. Are you sure your not talking about Stakeman? He was the first guy in the RMTDR to purchase one of ATS's systems.

Just to clarify..... the 450hp figure I was running was with the PDR HX35 turbo.

The KwikSpool HX40 and the B1 which I ran 13. 4's with both of them vs 13. 9 on the PDR turbo.

I never dynoed the HX40 or the B1.

You forgot the extensive ceramic coatings, cnc'd o-ringed heads, custom pump, and the hybrid is coated too.

The truck is a 500+ hp truck easily and 550-600 is not out of the realm. I have ceramics on my turbo that I'm not sure Kat has.

I can drive for 35 miles at 70+ stop and put my hand on the exhaust housing without so much as my fingers turning red.

IT MAKES FOR SERIOUS HEAT REDUCTION IN THE INTAKE STREAM.

Don has intake tubes, turbo, exhaust and every thing else that'll stand 500* baking coated. I haven't seen it yet but from an engineering standpoint those boys are first rate.

Betting against him is a bad idea.

No problem just didn't want someone getting the wrong info.

I hope to dyno with the B1 soon, but I have since added bigger injectors as well.

After reading the thread it appears that we dont have a dyno sheet or any proof of the 600HP run right? Or is there a dyno sheet to clear the mess up?

I would love to see the 600HP sheet from a 24 valve and a VP pump, either modified, changed or stock.

Im somewhat skeptical on the 600 HP figure though.

Oh, and getting 600HP aint no joke and does not happen without serious, serious work.

Don~
