Thanks, TDR Staff

EDGE power /DYNO day ?

Trucking Nationals anyone?

Not sure if we can get down there before the gates close on Friday... just wondering what is the earliest we can get in on Saturday??

Thanks

Rick

Count this new owner/new to SoCal in... I'll be dragging the toy hauler up from Castaic for the weekend to shake rattle and roll.

Would be nice to do a little dyno action... just for reference.

Sure would like to find the time to install my twins before then! I think they will have to wait until after the show...

A guy down the block from me has a banner hanging on his fence promoting this event. I'll be there, LACR is a 30 minute drive for me. :D

Hey Horsepuller!!! The guy down the block from you with the banner on the fence is a lady. :D Opps!!!!!. :-laf Next time you drive by stop and ring the bell on the gate or honk. Would love to meet another TDR member and check out your truck. We also have the TDR meetings every third thursday of the month, at 6:00 p. m. at the Carrows on Ave K and the 14 fwy. Always room for another Cummins owner. And if you want a warm up to the High Desert Diesel Roundup, the next DHRA race at LACR will be Sept 3rd. Check out www.lacr.net for times. All us crazy diesel fanatics up here would love to meet another one. Betty aka DieselLady Oo.

Betty,I told you that thing was to big. I here the city wants to charge you tax on it! :-laf If we could get all the people from up here to show up at the track we could have some fun!I Can't wait for the 3rd gotta try some new toys out! ;)

Ya well just wait till next year! Once they get the theater built I'm gonna use the back side for a display board :-laf :-laf :-laf :-laf . Besides there is no such thing as too big. I heard you have some new toys. Looking forward to the third. I am thinking about bringing the Jeep this time instead of the Dodge. I have not seen any Diesel Jeeps at any events yet. I would like to see what it will do compleatly stock before I start "Bombing" it. Besides it is a 4X4 so it will probably hook up better than my truck. What do ya think???? :--) Betty

First full pull with a Jeep!Maybe I will hook with the 2wd it would be fun to see who gets the most distance!

Shes talking about the 3rd man, won't be a sled at LACR until the 24th ;) That being said, we are going to have a 2wd class for pulling. I had enough people hassle me about it so we are going to give it a shot for fun. There will be trophies too!

im ganna be there... . with my trailer... would i get in trouble if i bring a keg? :D hoping to have a new a clutch so i can make my first pull. im afrade im going to have a mojor problem with wheel hop... i cant wait :-laf

is there going to be a dyno like last time?

JUSTIN

I don't think I want to go to that dyno place again after what that dumb ***** did to my truck. We need to meet up at a place where the dyno operator knows about diesels as well as has done them before. That cheeseball at R&E racing didn't know what the hell he was doing, especially with the automatic trucks.

just found out im going to be leaving from there to head to lake powl for a week on a house boat. should be fun but i dont think im going to be wanting to pull at the start or a 10 hour trip... . darn maybe nex year. oh well i still hit the drags :D

Lucky dude, wish could hit the pulls then head to the lake for week. Oh well, when you kids finally grow up you'll be right where I am, the family man.

I don't think you'll get in trouble if you bring keg, I would just try and keep it quiet so it doesn't float by noon.

I'll have to race ya, Justin, since I will not be pulling either. I want to hit up the strip and see what kind of time the 'ol beast can put down. I bet I am gonna surprise myself by the time. I should be able to spank your 6 speed, but we'll see. It's all about manual vs. manual. :-laf

Easy Craig I was only working on 2hrs sleep! Gotta keep the dollars flowing to keep you and me happy. :-laf Hope the wind stays down for the day and maybe we can get some traction. Don't want to go through the traps sideways again! :-laf

It would be nice if all of us camping could circle the wagons so to speak. Maybe we can figure how many, the size of the rigs, approx arrival times and first arrivals can stake out some TDR territory. BTW I carry a fairly loaded large tool chest in my toy hauler... just in case. It's the Boy Scout/old Harley rider in me, lol.
