Twins

Yep. Just wish I could find a set for the 04. 5 that I can trust. you guys got any leads??

Well I bought this set (ATS) They are going on next week. I have the 04. 5 also and it's well equipped to accommodate these twins. I am impressed with what I see on this set except for the cold pipes which I felt should look better than what they did. They came in Black and it wasn't smoothed as well as I would think they should be especially with the set on the web site being silver and looking top drawer. I spoke with Joel and he made that right for me and I applaud their customer service that I received. Some have slammed them but trust me I went through a six month nightmare of waitiing for a set and never did get them and I ordered these on a Wed and had them Fri morning! Give me a break,... find better customer service than that and I'll kiss ... ..... ... ... !! Now granted they may have just had those babies just sitting there and ready to go or they may have been a little proactive and knew someone (me) would want them. A lesson I learned from my prior experience was that I had them lay hands on them and every other part in the kit b-4 I ordered as I wasn't in the mood to be put off again. If your in the business then you should have the product or just tell customers in your advertising that they are just available through advance order and also give a time frame for completion and then STICK TO WHAT YOU SAY!!! What a novel idea to actually deliver on what you say,... when you say. Moving on,... on this set the turbos look really good and are quality units and I am most impressed with that wastegate elbow thingy (internal wastegated) that is their design. Never seen anything like it and is definitely a quality piece. The turbos are exactly matched for a 1:1 ratio at 60lbs of boost. Sweet!! Just what I had in mind. Ck my sig, I have what I think I need to fully match the potential for these twins. Just got a HP Intercooler that's not in the sig,. . will have to update that but other than some Don M injectors, when they become available for the 04. 5, I think I'm ready to lay down some sweet numbers. I'll be starting my own thread on these twins once they're on and I have tweeked the wastegate and decide if I'm going to keep the CLDL in the stack mix or go to the EZ or use both with the TST Twins with the CLDL turned down to probably tow when the EZ is in the mix,. . I'll experiment but unfortunately the strip is closed so it will be a seat of the pants appraisal. My $. 02.

Whatever you do, just don't do the gears. You will only lose. You will lose money, top-end speed, and highway MPG to only mention a few things.

I did a gear change at the request of the customer from 3. 73 to 4. 10, and he was very dissapointed, as I told him he would be. He has not changed back yet, but I give him 3 more months before he does, and he will be going to 3. 55's if he can help it.

I appreciate your input

Tks for the tip and NO I'm not about to change my gears,... I love the 3:73s for mileage, performance and all around driveability. That customer,... it wasn't John by any chance??? HEE! HEE! HEE! :D

LOL.

How'd you guess?

I think John has done about everything, and then tried something else. Either to compare, or it was the flavor of the day. LOL

I like him, but he drives me nuts by not sticking to his goals...

Yep,..got that one right, didn't I!!

When I read those threads about changing out those gears and how easy it was and how great the results were,... Yuk on that! Somebody would need to see a brain surgeon if they bought into that deal. MC, your exactly right,... it's about having a goal and methodically working towards it and doing your research and then sharing with the members as everyone doesn't need to make the same mistake if you've made one. The value in group sharing is tremendous and it keeps vendors in line so if they have a thought about screwing someone over for a quick $$$ then they will see in short order that it is better to provide quality products and services and the reward will far out way any short term gain of having screwed one guy. M $. 02. :D

industrial injection 3-flows, i am not sure how much h. p. probably around 100 or close too, it will make 41 psi of boost with injectors only, tst 0-0, i only put the ramifier on if i am going to sled pull, but i think it will lose some top end cause the rail runs dry faster... . give brady a call at 801-972-0476 ;)

DO NOT BUY from Industrial Injection!

I ran their 3 flows and a nozzle tip broke off 250 miles from home late in the winter night. Cost me $500 to tow, then Jerolyn B Williams, think he goes by Brady, had the balls to charge me for a new injector and labor to install it reneging on his word that defects would be covered. That was the 3rd time they had failed. The 1st and 2nd failure were caused by the back yard mechanic Robert of Performance Chips of Utah - improper installation. Filled the crank case with diesel. The fourth and last time another injector went south I had to pay Cummins $2000 for all new ones. Altogether, cost me over $5000 so I just got rid of the truck. I still have the p. o. s 'three flow' injectors which do their best collecting dust. Spread the word, unethical and disreputable business practices should not be tolerated. Performance Chips of Utah (Robert)and Industrial Injection (Brady) ARE white collar thiefs and I am a victim of their crime which they call 'work'.

If your luck was that bad with them you should copy your above post and start a new thread to see what people have to say. It really sucks when you get the shaft from a vendor. Make it public knowledge with a new thread.

Well on 1/18 I broke my stock flex plate and called ATS and they replaced it with a billet one and Clint didn't charge me labor due to the fact of the amount of business I have done there recently. I thought it was an awsome thing to do for me. By the way they had it done and ready 2 days later.

By the way Clint at ATS also put the Xcellerator in my truck for me to try out and it made a HUGE difference on my takeoffs. Now when I tried it, it had the TST and the Edge EZ still hooked up to it and it ran like a raped ape with the exception that it was way to smokey. Clint said I should try removing the EZ and that made a huge difference, but on the top end I could tell I wasn't as strong. When the Xcellerator is on extreme the turbos on extremely responsive even when I barely step on the gas at cruising speed.

Now I am waiting for ATS to call me to try out a new program for my Co-Pilot and they are going to switch out my A2000 turbo housing with an new design they have. My truck should be going in here in the next few weeks. I'll let you all know the results when it's done.

FWIW ... I made 494. 2 HP on my 04. 5 with just the xcelerator proram. Same truck with TST EZ stack made 463. 6 HP TST on 7X7 EZ pegged.

Do you have aftermarket cp3 or sticks??

Believe what Rammin On says. He knows what hes talking about. Some how he can push stock parts beyond belife and never break em' :{ Me on the other hand...
