Rich,
Yes, I had a salesperson ask me if the Predator 90 was going to be ridden by someone 12 or older. When I told him no he told me he couldn't sell me the 90 because of the age requirement. So, I said then I will tell you yes, I'll be ridding it. He hasn't called me back yet.
I called a dealer in Oregon who quoted me a price which was a little over $400 under MSRP for the 500 and 250, combined. He recommended the Predator 50 for my situation, stating the 90 was pretty fast and might be too much for a first bike. With regards to the 50 he said there was no wiggle room, due to there being only a $60 +/- margin. Who knows what the margin really is.
As far as getting them to throw in accessories, that's a good way to offset costs. Since I don't have any experience to speak of when it comes to purchasing ATVs, I don't have a real feel for how hard to push things and what to realistically ask for/expect.
