New to the forum here. The automatic door lock feature on my 2002 Ram 2500 continually trips while traveling faster than 15 mph. Almost as if there is a sensor that indicates doors are locked is not functioning properly? I have pulled the fuse to disable the locks, but have lost many other features in doing so.

First of all, Welcome to the TDR.
You will want to post this in the "Second Generation" forums as that is the generation of your truck. The third generation is 2003-2009.
My understanding is that the auto lock feature works from a signal from the speed sensor.

I'm guessing there's a procedure on your truck like the on the 3rd gens to disable the auto locking feature. (annoyance) It was in the owners manual and used a combination of the key and buttons, but after a couple minutes, no more locking.

(moved to 2nd gen forum)

I am 99% sure that you can disable that feature as when I bought my truck new I enabled it. It is your owners manual. If you can not find it I will try to find it in my owners manual.

Hmmm, thought I did post this on 2nd gen forum, but not sure?? Anyway, thanks for the feedback all. Just wanted to let you know that I pulled the fuse to get rid of the annoyance. Upon replacing the fuse in an attempt to trouble shoot, the issue has mysteriously and thankfully vanished. The old "re-boot" and try again. Really glad I joined TDR as it looks like a great community and a wealth of information. Thanks again!
