Hi i have a bad injector on my 90 dodge. I dont have any money right now to fix it, and ive been having this bad injector for like a month now. So i was wondering if having a bad injector, can it hurt the engine at all?

Bad. Like it does nothing at all, bad? Or, bad, like it won't atomize fuel as it should or dribbles/leaks?

Most of us are driving around on "bad injectors". My 1990 has (had) 320,000+ miles prior to replacing the original units. It ran a bit rough at slow idle but performed well otherwise.

When I pulled mine recently( very hard to get last 2 out) they looked like sticks of carbon, but I could still go down the road. I have to say that the 5. 9 tries real hard to keep running despite operator flaws.

Years ago, when I first became familiar with my beloved 5. 9 cummins, I had a 90 model that idled rough. It ran extremely well above an idle, so I presumed it was an injector. After a little over 350,000 miles, 85,000 or so with a noticed rough idle, I decided it was time to fix my injectors, and the rough idle, as well. I bought a new set of POD injectors, and after installing them, I still had a rough idle. This made me search out W. L. "Pete" Peterson of Decatur, Tx, and my education on Cummins took great leaps in a matter of a few hours. The rough idle ended up being the cam plate in my "tuned" injection pump. A few hours later, it was fixed and ran better than EVER! And I was one happy camper... puller. Just a suggestion, make sure what the problem is before you spend too much money.....

Okay so ive been getting greyish white clouds when i start my tuck and when i put the pedal to the floor. Two of my injectors are leaking fuel. The lines that connects to the two injectors are leaking. Also the performance on my truck has decrease (Boost went from 25 to 20). Mileage went from 18-19 to 16.

Which fuel line leaks? If it is the high pressure, back them off to blow out any debris (while running) then snug them down enough to prevent a miss/leak.

If it is the bleed-off. You may be able to tighten the banjo a bit, but they won't take too much torque. They have a copper horse shoe to seal at the banjo.

The grey smoke can be worn injectors, but my original injectors in my 90 did that. The new ones do too.

Sounds time to pull them and install new.

Sounds, possibly, like the tip of one of your injectors has cracked, or one of them is not sealing off good, dribbling or dripping. Check your lift pump and filter to make sure you're getting enough fuel, as well. But the poor mileage fall off tells me it's an injector or bad fuel.....

That sounds suspiciously like a pump problem rather than injectors. Not saying you don't have an injector problem but... . every time I have had a gey\white smoke problem when revving the engine its been the IP.
