Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Bad noise coming from turbo

I have an 01 with 155hp injectors, hypertech programmer, and an edge comp and just recently my turbo started making a horrible ticking sound when it spools up. i have run the egt up way high once or twice and dont know if it may be bearings? any info would be appreciated

Take off the intake tube and inspect the blades for chips or any of them missing. Also look at the housing around the blades for contact grooves. Then cross your fingers and and spin it and check for shaft wobble. If it is making that much noise you better start shopping... ... .....

Take the turbo charger of and inspect it. Inspect the heater grid and the lower part of the intercooler turbocharger side. If you are running 155hp injectors with a stock charger you do not have enough air which is why you destroyed the charger. Hopefully thats all you destroyed. You may also have engine issues.
