I have a 2000 2500 and the drivers side battery has a few wires (look like non-stock) for which I'm trying to identify. These are small low-voltage wires and I've had difficulties tracing them.

Does anyone have a diagram or photo of a stock battery connections? Should I expect to see 'rogue' wires?

All ideas are welcome.

Is your truck an auto or manual trans? If it's auto it may be a re-wire to the TPS to overcome the TC lock / unlock issue. The possibilities are endless and as Katoom said pictures will really help and a list of your accessories

My truck had a wire harness added when it was upgraded from engine mounted lift pump to in-tank lift pump. It had a tag with the Chrysler part number on it.

Thanks for the replies. I did abandon the stock lift pump for a rear-mounted FASS pump. I will trace wires and get back to the group with pics too.

I identified the wires... the first was the fuel pump and the second appears to be the starter solenoid wire (traced the hot wire leading to the starter motor).

I'm doing a FASS install too. Misery loves company. I will post up pictures of my issue a little later. I have figured out my truck was originally an in-tank install then it died and somebody rigged up a lift pump under the driver's seat, now I'm going with a FASS 165 with a suction tube for the tank just need help on where to plug in the Fass since the orginal fitting isn't there.

I'd think the FASS system "should" come with some directions "and" a separate relay to wire into the existing LP activation. You could give them a call and ask. I don't know for sure as I have a GDP system.
