Well guys, this Saturday was the annual spring BD Dyno Day event.
The weather was perfect for the trucks/dyno runs. Generally a good day with a cool overcast sky and occasional sunny breaks to keep us humans from frosting up.
A couple of rain sprinkles keep the air moist which helped as well.
I think that I'll leave the numbers results to those who did their thing, BUT... as I recall the top two High HP trucks were from our shop this time.
In addition Bill Fletcher was there too. He did not run on the rollers but he is the fellow who ran the 10. 929 second quarter mile in his PDR powered truck. He then did even better at something like 10. 57'ish.
Rottin Rhonda (a PDR truck was in the 12. 00's as well. .
Jason Burton took #1 spot with some really good numbers and nascar mark pulled in a very close 2nd to Jason.
We enjoyed the comraderie and chow in general.
I was dissapointed to see that not one 1st Gen was signed up to run..... I don't know what happened there.....
In my case, I did not enter for a couple reasons... one, I know roughly were I'm at now so no need to make the line longer for guys who had/have not run before and secondly I have enough EGT issues that I did not want to press my luck until I get more air and a stud kit to hold it in.
Presently I can poke 1600*F with my fuel turned way down and the cone on factory lean setting. The last thing I need is to take the ole girl to 48psi and 1600*F then hear the nasty noise we all dread...
Anyway, that's MY story and I'm sticken to it.....
