I guess you have no comparison of 1/8 to quarter, my truck back half’s in the 3. 0 range, you go figure. But you a sled puller and it has to be explained to you, as we all know that mentality. The 1/8 I’m running now correlate to a low 8 20 something in the quarter.

WOW I never said nothing about drag racers and now even Im included in this. That alone shows mentality.

"Mr. Money",

Check your email? Am I not getting through?

Sorry to intrude... . got out quick enough to not need ****-kickers! :-laf

Sigh, 02,03 Diesel Thunder in Muncie wins are not 4 years ago.

04 , third at Scheids and TiM, and 03,04 points championships in Pennsylvania/Ohio.

A DHRA qualfiying win in Springfield, 05, with a second place in the finals, and I'm 1 point out of first as we type. TOOT, TOOT!

Yep, I'm washed up. :{

And you and COMP have accomplished what exactly? Oh yes, made some pretty numbers, when you weren't even in sanctioned competition.

That is the same as me building a sledpulling track in my backyard, and declaring a 500' world record!!!!! :p :-laf

Sorry, it was derived from subjective info. BTW, I know I've probably exhausted my eminence but, I would really like to receive an autograph photo of your truck if you have an extra laying around ?

I am out at the moment, but the next batch of 5000 should be in anyday now. I'll bump you to the top of the list, as soon as I receive your money order for $35. 00. :D

Yeah but its nice to have pistons in stock and plentiful- and cheaper than those others mentioned..... ;)

Stock and Plentiful is fine. If you burn a piston down at the track... the car is still going on the trailer. Your not runnin to Cummins and throwing another piston in it. There is a reason Sheids, Comp and others are trying new pistons. If Comp is right and each piston weighs 75% less... That's alot of rotating mass. That's alot of weight to litterally get going in one direction... . Speed up very quickly, STOP!, Turn around and get going again! The forces you are dealing with are exponential the higher the power you are dealing with as well as the RPM's you are dealing with.

A stock piston is a great piston, I applaud the Bentz Team for pushing these parts as far as they will go! I also Applaud Sheids, Comp and the like for trying other products to PUSH the envelope. You never know what could be the next tenth of a second, or on something like a piston... half a second!

Keep up the good work guys!

Josh

the piston , rod , and wrist pin weight a total of 2330 grams . I would guess that at 600 RPM's per second acceleration rate that could equal 150+ hp

Our dialogue exchange is promising as your perspicacious intellect detects.

The infant development of communication builds our foundation exchange trust and enhances cohesion leading to indescribable understanding for one's feelings. In the future, I can easily see you, PartTime, McFly and myself taking advantage of a freshly loaded trout pond on a sunny day…. . Hey, call me over the weekend, we'll talked about your past accomplishments and short term goals :)

Josh-
I was just commenting on how cool it is that by using the 'Bucks down approach'- Scott is using that they are still using the stocker pistons!! And look at the punishment they take!! To take the heavy stock piston and rod combination we have with these Cummins Diesels and force them to propell a rail into the 7's is very respectful in my book!! My hats off to Scott and the boys for that one.

And by having a lighter piston, you would also want a significantly lighter in weight rod to go with that light weight piston and while we're at it what about a lighter weight crankshaft too? I'll have mine Knife-edged ! and now after all that have the whole combination presision, dynamically balanced- That'll really give you the ability to rev the engine up qwickly! But why not have the whole shebang run thru a Cyrogenics process to really strenghten the assembly when runnin at hi rev's? pricey ? yes! Worth it ? In the racing buisness... ... ..... making it last a long time saves money down the road- so it's up to you to decide. Me- I believe it's worth it!
:D
75% less piston weight? Can you verify that with a numbers comparison?
That is cool if it's true? How much are they?
Oo. Price?

And Josh- I've been around once or twice!

but i still hav'nt found the 'pull- start' cord yet?

:-laf :-laf !

Pull start cord..... these things have one?

I won't argue... but there comes a time when you loose To much and now loose reliability. How far is to far? I like the Bentz approach... and I fully repsect the Comp/Sheids approach. Build it till it breaks or break it, then build it till you can't break it. But as you have said... . You've been around once or twice... so you know that! ;)

OK, personal attack time... Nice... I tried to PM you and just chat... but now you bring it out in the open..... By the sounds of things it's a good thing that I have read those mags. An Engine is an Engine. What underhood expierence do you have? I ask good questions that I have researched and can't find the answer. 450posts in 3 months..... Sorry but research first, ask questions later! If you want to continue the personal side of things... . PM me. :-{}

Now back to your regularly scheduled BOMB'ing! Oo.

With a 15. 3 Best time with your 3500 posted in you sig-
you better read some more and stop examining others... ... ... .
I've had mine doing 13. 3's consistently w- a PDR HX-40 single and
12. 9's with single B1-EX-4 and small fuel mod-

Don't know if yours is 4wheeldrive or not (mine is) and with a 15. 3 Don't care.

Don't worry bout what I read, how many times I post, how much underhood experience I have, o. k. and yes I took your PM offensively- so go check your mailbox maybe the new issue of Better Homes and Gardens came.

Oh yeah B. T. W. I look under my hood now and I see blacktop-
cause the engine is getting redone in my garage now- and we'll see the times this new build puts me, I'm shootin from the hip with this one.
