I have an Aisin transmission diagnostic question related to the "4th gear only" Limp Mode occurring when heavy hauling in hot weather, 2018 Ram 3500 Cummins 6.7 with Aisin. It has been diagnosed and repaired once using codes read by my dealer right after the truck was brought in, displaying the symptoms as it was shut off. I still have the problem appear. However, before it could need half an hour of cooldown to go away, now just shutting down and restarting the truck seems to clear it the past time or two it happened.
I would like a "live scan" capable scanner tool that I can use to get the best diagnostic information to support the dealer's next look at it. Full 2018 Ram code access including the Cummins 6.7, live scanning, "freeze frame" data collection, those are some of the things I'm seeking.
My search today has been frustrating for a lack of specific information about the capabilities of the tools for my 4th gen diesel HD Ram. The Foxwell MD808 Pro looks like it could be applicable, but no solid information found including the Foxwell website. Autel and some others come up looking promising. Can someone with specific knowledge and experience respond?
This thread has previous information about my issue:

TransEngineer has been most helpful, including with some private message responses. Unfortunately for getting information (but good otherwise), Aisin problems have not occurred enough to help even him to have deep knowledge of what to expect.
Hence the search for a reliable scan tool that will work with the Cummins 6.7 and Aisin, diagnosing engine and transmission control problems and codes. Do not mind a cost in the hundreds, if it is the right tool to own for solving this and for future use.
Thanks
Don
